Lindsay Lohan to play Taylor
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly landed the role of Elizabeth Taylor under the condition she follows the rules of her probation.
The troubled actress is set to portray the iconic Hollywood diva in a made-for-TV movie but had to agree to a caveat that states she must stay out of court to secure the role.
The 25-year-old is currently working off 480 hours of community service after she was charged with misdemeanour theft for taking a necklace from a jewellery store in 2011.Following a few teething problems with her work at a Los Angeles women’s centre and the county morgue, Lindsay has been adhering to the judge’s rules and is next set to appear in court on February 22.If she can continue to abide by the rules of her sentence, the former child star will be starring in Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, a Lifetime channel production.Directed by Larry Thompson, the project has been in development since last May and will tell the story of Elizabeth and Richard Burton’s tumultuous relationship.Megan Fox was also reportedly in the running to portray the late star.
