New Delhi, December 4: Congress MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewar on Sunday expressed disappointment over the repeated delays in IndiGo flights. Tiwar, who has flown three IndiGo flights in the last week, particularly highlighted the recent incident involving flight 6E2159 from Chandigarh to Delhi, which was delayed by more than 90 minutes. This followed another significant delay of over 2.5 hours in IndiGo 6E flight 1855 from Delhi to Chandigarh.

In a social media post, Tiwar expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, “This is the third IndiGo flight I am taking this week which is delayed by more than 90 minutes. On an earlier occasion, IndiGo 6E flight number 1855 from Delhi to Chandigarh was delayed by more than two and a half hours.” He said the primary reason for choosing IndiGo was its historical punctuality, and commented, “Otherwise the service etc. It’s better to leave it unsaid.”

Notably, comedian Kapil Sharma had also expressed his disappointment over IndiGo citing considerable delay in his flight 6E 5149 on November 29. Sharma criticized the airline for making passengers wait on the bus for 50 minutes and then revealing that the pilot was stuck in traffic. , causing further delays. In his social media post, Sharma questioned whether the 180 passengers would like to fly with IndiGo again, and finally said, “Never #indigo6E5149.”
