During the discussion on ‘World Brother India’, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is part of India and there is a proposal of Parliament to bring it back to India and all political parties are committed to this.
Referring to the Modi government’s policies, the External Affairs Minister said that people had made up their minds about Article 370 that it could not be changed. But now that we have changed it once, the whole ground has changed. He further said that there is a proposal in Parliament on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and every political party in the country is committed to ensure that PoK is part of India and should come back to India.
Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar expressed the commitment of the Narendra Modi government and said that one thing he wants to say is that people did not ask us about PoK 10 years ago or 5 years ago. But when we abolished Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, now people are starting to consider PoK as important.
