A new update for improved image matching is rolling out to the X, announced by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Saturday. This new update of social media platform X will monitor deepfakes as well as shallowfakes.

Shallowfaxes are photos, videos and voice clips that are generated without the help of artificial intelligence (AI). It is prepared using editing and software tools and these editing and software tools are widely available.
X-Notes automatically appear on posts that contain images.
It’s common for these notes to match dozens, hundreds, and sometimes thousands of posts, the company said. You can now see how many posts have image notes directly in the note details.
Experts have warned during the election season that fake news and deepfakes can be spread with the aim of influencing the elections.
