In this terrorist attack, Subedar Anand Singh Rawat, a resident of Kandakhal in Rudraprayag District, Jambaz Rifleman Adesh Negi of Tehri District, Rifleman Anuj Negi of Pauri Garhwal District, Havildar Kamal Singh of Pauri District and Naik Vinod Singh of Tehri Garhwal District were martyred. After the martyrdom of these jawans in Uttarakhand, there is an atmosphere of mourning, and the houses of the martyrs are covered with mourning. There is terrible anger among the people against the terrorists. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed deep grief over this incident.

Jambaz Rifleman Adesh Negi of Tehri District gave his supreme sacrifice for the country at the tender age of 26 years. His father Dalbir Singh Negi works as a farmer in the village. Rifleman Adarsh ​​Negi studied from Government Inter College, Piplidhar till class XII. In the year 2019, when he was studying B.Sc. second year from Garhwal University, during that time he was recruited in Garhwal Rifles. Local MLA Vinod Kandari has mourned his martyrdom with pride.

On July 8, Monday, terrorists ambushed army soldiers in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. 5 jawans including Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were martyred in this terrorist attack, while 5 other jawans were injured. 5 jawans injured in this attack were admitted to Billawar Community Health Center in Kathua for treatment. He was referred to Military Hospital for better treatment.

According to information received from the sources, on Monday afternoon, the security forces were searching in Badnota of Machedi area of ​​Lohai Malhar block of Kathua. The terrorists who were sitting in ambush suddenly attacked him with grenades. The terrorists threw grenades as well as firing. The search for the terrorists continues.
