Lok Sabha Elections 2024: BJP leads on 230 seats and Congress on 100 seats in Election Commission of India figures

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has released the initial trends of the official counting of votes for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, with the BJP leading the way. It is followed by Congress, Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress.

According to the official figures released, the elections have been held in 543 Lok Sabha seats, in which BJP is leading in 231 seats, while Congress is leading in 100 seats, Samajwadi Party in 33 seats, Trinamool Congress in 22 seats and DMK in 17 seats. .

According to the data released by the Election Commission of India, the party-wise vote share is also seen in favor of the BJP. BJP got 40.21 percent votes, Congress got 26.80 percent and SP got 3.78 percent.

In Uttar Pradesh, BJP is leading in 40 seats, SP is leading in 29 seats and Congress is leading in seven seats.

BJP is leading in six out of seven seats in Delhi, while India Bloc is ahead in one seat.

Out of the 42 seats in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress is leading in 24 seats, while the BJP is leading in eight seats and the Congress is leading in three seats.
