Karnataka Police has received CCTV footage of the suspected accused in the Bengaluru cafe blast. Police have started a search operation on the basis of the footage found.

In the CCTV footage obtained by the police, the suspected attacker is allegedly seen carrying a bomb in a bag. After receiving the CCTV footage, the police have started a search in Mangaluru city, Kerala and Tamil Nadu to find the suspected attacker.

The suspected attacker in the Bengaluru Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast case is seen in CCTV footage wearing a gray shirt, black pants and a white cap. He was carrying a dish from Rameshwaram Cafe before the blast.

In another video, the accused attacker is seen moving at high speed on the road towards the cafe.

Police have started investigating this matter and they say that the accused involved in the blast will be caught soon.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will chair a high-level meeting to discuss the security situation in the state.

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said in this matter on Friday that the accused involved in the blast will be arrested within a few hours.

Karnataka state police chief Alok Mohan has said that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) have been informed about the incident.

Sources say national agencies are assisting in the investigation of the Bengaluru cafe blast case.

The Bengaluru IED blast case is being treated as a terrorist act by the police and a case has been registered at HAL police station against the suspected attackers under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967 (UAPA) and the Explosive Substances Act.

At least 10 people, including hotel staff and customers, were injured in the low-intensity blast.
