Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally in Salem, Tamil Nadu under five-tier security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a whirlwind tour of the southern states ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister will address a rally in Salem in western Tamil Nadu on Tuesday afternoon. For which more than 5,000 police personnel have been deployed in Salem and five-tier security arrangements have been made for the rally.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will first hold a road show in Kerala’s Palakkad and campaign for the party for the elections. After that PM Modi will leave for Salem.

Election agreement between BJP and PMK has been signed on Tuesday morning. Dr. to contest the election from Tamil Nadu. Ten seats have been allotted to S. Ramdas’s party.
Interestingly, the home constituency of Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) is Salem. who is the General Secretary of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Needless to say, BJP and AIADMK were alliance partners in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, BJP and AIADMK were alliance partners in 2021 assembly elections too, but AIADMK broke ties with BJP in September 2023.
Now that the BJP and PMK have come to an alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha, it remains to be seen whether the PMK will target the AIADMK general secretary in his home constituency or not. The Tamil Nadu BJP president has taken an anti-AIADMK stance since the two parties split.
