Ghaziabad, October 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted the first Rapidex train to the country by inaugurating the first phase of the RRTS corridor. Today at 11:30 am, the Prime Minister flagged off the Rapidex train at Sahibabad station, and after purchasing the ticket, he entered the platform and traveled.
During this inauguration, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, and BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary were also present.
Some students were also present with him during this journey. In this journey, the Prime Minister traveled like a common man and gave a message to everyone that now the common man of Uttar Pradesh will travel in the world’s best high-speed train. Their journey with this high-speed train will be easy, pleasant, and beautiful. During this journey, the Prime Minister also bought the train ticket himself and gave a message to the people that the ticket could be easily bought without any hassle and the journey could be enjoyed.

The first phase of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor has been inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi by flagging off the country’s first rapid rail. There are a total of 72 seats in the standard coach of Namo Bharat Railways. Seats have been reserved for women in every coach.
Regarding the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTC corridor, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NRCTC) officials said that a baggage scanning system equipped with AI-powered technology has been arranged, which will help the security staff in identifying prohibited items. This will alert security staff. The rapid rail doors will be linked with the PSD, which will mean the train attendants. So that passengers can travel safely.
Apart from this, space for wheelchairs and stretchers will be provided in the last coach of the train. Toilets for women have been made at every station and space for changing diapers of children has also been made in those toilets.
