New Delhi, Sep 25: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Jan Sangh leader Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him and acknowledged Upadhyay’s lasting influence. Prime Minister Modi said in a tweet, “I pay tribute to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji on his birth anniversary. His emphasis on service to the poor and Antyodaya continues to inspire us. During his monthly radio broadcast “Mann Ki Baat”, the Prime Minister remembered Deen Dayal Upadhyay and described him as a brilliant humanitarian, thinker, and a great son of India.

That is why he put forward the idea of ‘Integrated Human Philosophy’ and ‘ Prime Minister Modi further said, ‘Before Antyodaya, the country was completely Indian.’
