The Trinamool Congress (TMC) is gearing up to unveil its candidate roster for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections during a grand rally at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground on Sunday.
Led by its chief, Mamata Banerjee, the party aims to kickstart its election campaign during this rally, setting the stage for the impending polls. Mamata Banerjee is slated to personally announce the party’s nominees for all 42 parliamentary constituencies in West Bengal during the event, marking a significant departure as this marks the first occasion where the candidate list will be revealed in such a large-scale public gathering at the Brigade Parade Ground.
The anticipation for the rally has drawn in crowds of supporters and grassroots leaders from various districts, eager to hear from their beloved leader, affectionately known as ‘Didi’. Dubbed as the ‘Jana Garjan Sabha’, this mega event will feature multiple platforms, including a cross ramp, where Mamata Banerjee and TMC’s national general secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, will take center stage as the key speakers.
