Four Indian Americans entrepreneurs awarded in US

The "Young Professional of the Year" was presented to Malisha Patel

Houston, Sep 12 (UITV)- Four prominent Indian-Americans have been awarded by a Houston based chamber of commerce for their outstanding work as entrepreneurs and for “building bridges” between India and America. The awards were given by Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH) at an event.

The gala event themed “Building Bridges” was attended by over 700 guests, compromising prominent community members, top business leaders, Council General of India Dr Anupam Ray, University of Houston chancellor and President Dr Renu Khator.

Woman entrepreneur award was presented to Revati Puranik, CFO, Worldwide Oilfield Machine, a company that specializes in manufacturing oil and gas equipment.

Entrepreneur of the year award was given to Abezaar S Tayabji, founder and CEO Shipcom Wireless, while Bhavesh Patel, CEO LyondellBasell was awarded with Business leader of the year award.

The “Young Professional of the Year” was presented to Malisha Patel, who is Chief Operating Officer of Memorial Hermann Hospital Sugarland.

Council General Dr Ray in speech it is good time to be a diplomat in the US and this is the evident from the fact that few day ago on the same day the US secretary of state was in India and the Indian defense minister was in Washington.

The chief guest and keynote speaker was Bruce Culpepper, President, Shell USA.
