India, China to discuss border, other major issues

Beijing, Nov 21 (UITV/IANS) - India and China will discuss their vexed boundary dispute and try to sort out major issues at the 21st round of two-day border talks beginning on Friday in the Chinese city of Chengdu, Beijing said on Wednesday.

As India becomes wealthier, more Indians leave its shores

Mumbai, Nov 21 (IndiaSpend/IANS) As India has become wealthier, more of its citizens are leaving its shores.

An estimated 17 million Indians were living abroad in 2017, making India the largest source country for international migrants globally, up from seven million in 1990 and a 143 per cent increase, according to an IndiaSpend analysis of data from the United Nations Department of Economic Affairs.

Over the same period, India's per capita income increased by 522 per cent (from $1,134 to $7,055), providing more people the means to travel abroad in search of employment opportunities they were not finding at home.

At the same time, the number of unskilled migrants leaving the country has been falling: An estimated 391,000 left India in 2017, almost half the number in 2011 (637,000), according to a new report by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

However, this does not necessarily mean that an increasing proportion of India's emigrants are likely to be higher skilled or that policymakers should be worried about a rise in "brain drain".

It's extremely easy to judge someone: Sunny Leone

Mumbai, Nov 21 (UITV/IANS) -  Actress Sunny Leone says she gets judged by people for who they assume her to be.

"Something that I always get judged for is 'who people think I am'. It is extremely easy to judge someone," Sunny said in a statement.

In sync with her belief, the actress has joined Craftsvilla's latest campaign #JudgeMeNot -- which aims to break stereotypes and shackles of size, shape, colour and choices preferred by women.

"By joining this campaign, I wanted to tell everyone that unless you have walked in someone else's shoes, you really can't know the whole story. What helped me rise above judgement was concentrating...

Morocco launches its 2nd observation satellite

Rabat, Nov 21 (UITV/IANS) -  Morocco launched its second earth observation satellite, Mohammed VI-B, from French Guiana early on Wednesday, the second in a year.

Its first satellite, Mohammed VI-A, was launched on November 8, 2017, by the Vega rocket from the same Kourou space centre, Morocco's official MAP news agency said.

Both satellites can take very high-resolution images, the agency said.

The Mohammed VI-B was the second satellite of Morocco's ambitious space program -- the first in Africa -- that was launched in 2013 by King Mohammed VI, after whom the satellites are named.
