Govt. to instate a national award after the Late Sushant Singh Rajput

Latest buzz is that the Indian Government is planning to induct an award in the late actor’s name

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UITV): Although it has nearly been 9 months since Sushant Singh Rajput died under suspicious circumstances, the void that he left still remains. There is nothing much that any that has  come out of the CBI investigation till now, but the latest buzz is that the Indian Government is planning to induct an award in the late actor’s name.

While the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021, has honoured late actor Sushant Singh Rajput with the Critic's Best Actor accolade in the award ceremony held on Saturday. The actor, who died apartment on June 14, was last seen in Dil Bechara opposite Sanjana Sanghi and Chichhore also starring Shraddha Kapoor prior to it.

According to reports in a movie source reports, “Yes, they are planning to instate a National film award named after Sushant Singh Rajput. The proposal has been put forth. But then, bureaucracy and politics are slow movers. It’s taking time to push the idea forward. But we will get there, I am sure.”

It should be noted here that not a single plan has took shape, which were discussed at the time of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. There have been several discussions and multiple allegations leading to a deliberate cover up on the case, but no outcome till now. Even the proposed biopics have not gone anywhere since the announcement. SSR's death has always been suspected to be associated with the death of his former manager Disha Salian who died a week before him in a similar suspicious circumstances.

Talking about Sushant’s biopic, the latest buzz is that a film titled Nyay: The Justice has been announced, which will be based on his life. It is set to be produced by Sarla A Saraogi and Rahul Sharma under Vikas Productions’ banner.

Sarla, wife of well-known criminal lawyer, Ashok Saraogi has teamed up with Rahul Sharma jointly for producing the film a tribute to Sushant. The upcoming film will recapture the late actor’s memories and include the events related to his death.
