Karishma Kapoor & Shruthi Hassan give a new twist to the conventional black

Karisma in Prabal gurung outfit while Shruti Hassan in Amritha Ram's sari

Mumbai, Nov 14 (UITV): We have seen a multiple ways of styling the monochrome outfits over time. But Karisma Kapoor's latest attire adds a new twist to the same old black and white ensembles.

Recently at an event, Karisma wore a wonderful shimmery outfit by the high-end designer, Prabal Gurung. Karisma's black and white midi dress had a very comfortable and flowy feel to it.

The dress even had floating sleeves and a preety cut out detail at the waistline. This part of the dress gave a hint of Karisma's washboard abs. The ensemble even had overlapping material that resulted in pleats and gave a thigh-slit to the dress.

She concluded the attire with a pair of black strappy heels and for her accessories just wore a pair of subtle monochrome earrings, letting the dress be the major accessory.

Karisma tied her hair in a middle-parted sleek ponytail and for her makeup, she went with shimmery eye shadow and a bold red lip.

Karisma Kapoor is the evergreen fashionista in Bollywood and her Instagram posts prove that. On the professional front, Karisma has finished shooting for her web series Mentalhood.

On the other hand the south indian bombshell, Shruti Haasan, the light-eyed daughter of the veteran Kamal Haasan is setting the Instagram in fire, credits to her mindblowing style. Whether it's a party avatar or a casual look Shruti makes sure she dresses to slay every single time. And, if her latest pictures are to be believed, Shruti is all set to be the sari queen of South Indian cinema. The stunner took to Instagram recently to share some pictures of her sari look. The diva dressed in a gleaming black sari for the special screening of Hey Ram and made sure she put her most fashionable foot forward.

Shruti dressed to slay in a plain black sari which she teamed up with a matching full-sleeved blouse with a very deep back. The diva accessorised the look with chunky oxidised jewellery from Amrapali. Styled by Amritha Ram, Shruti maintained a simple look and her make-up aprroves of that, as it only focused on her eyes and lips.
We loved Shruti’s sexy black sari look as it dares to break the stereotypes and opt black over other hues.
