US President Donald Trump hints to fully pulling out of Iran deal

Washington, Oct 17 (UITV/IANS) - US President Donald Trump has said that pulling his government out of the nuclear pact with Iran is a very real possibility.

"I feel strongly about what I did. I'm tired of being taken advantage of as a nation," Trump told the press on Monday during a Cabinet meeting, Efe news reported.

"We'll see what phase two is. Phase two might be positive. It might be very negative. Might be a total termination. That's a very real possibility. But it also could turn out to be very positive. We'll see what happens."

Trump said he was pleased that lately "the tone of the Iranian leaders was very modified".

UN Rohingya report shelved at Myanmar's order

United Nations, Oct 17 (UITV/IANS) - The UN food aid agency withdrew a critical report revealing desperate hunger among the Rohingya Muslim minority after the Myanmar government ordered it to be taken down, the media reported on Tuesday.

The July assessment by the World Food Programme (WFP) warned that more than 80,000 children under the age of five were "wasting" - a potentially fatal condition of rapid weight loss, reports the Guardian.

The six-page document has since been replaced with a statement saying Myanmar and WFP were "collaborating on a revised version".

An Indian-origin boy becomes one of UK’s youngest millionaires

London, Oct 17 (UITV/IANS): An Indian-origin teenager has made a fortune by selling houses through his online estate agency business during his school lunch breaks and has become one of UK's youngest millionaires, a media report said.

While other youngsters were kicking a ball around the playground, Akshay Ruparelia, 19, was quietly negotiating huge property deals on his mobile, the Daily Mirror reported.

He hired a call centre service to answer his company switchboard while he was in class and rang clients back after the school bell rang.

Within months, investors were buying shares in Ruparelia's firm "www.doorsteps.co.uk". In little more than a year, the company has been valued at 12 million pounds and the teenager has sold 100 million pounds worth of homes.

Ruparelia's school friends nicknamed him "Alan Sugar" after Baron Sugar, the business tycoon and "Apprentice" star.

76 new antibiotic genes were found

London, Oct 16 (UITV/IANS): Researchers have found 76 previously unknown genes that make bacteria resistant to last-resort antibiotics. The genes were found while searching large volumes of bacterial DNA.

The findings showed that several of these resistance genes can provide bacteria with the ability to degrade carbapenems -- most powerful class of antibiotics used to treat multi-resistant bacteria.

"Our study shows that there are lots of unknown resistance genes. Knowledge about these genes makes it possible to more effectively find and hopefully tackle new forms of multi-resistant bacteria...
