Senate investigators speaks to Russians who met Trump's son

Washington, Oct 21 (UITV/IANS) - Senate intelligence committee investigators have spoken with several Russians who attended a June 2016 meeting with US President Donald Trump's son, the media reported.

Senator Richard Burr, the chairman of the Senate intelligence committee, told CNN on Friday that the panel has interviewed some of the Russians who were at the meeting in New York, which Donald Trump Jr. attended after being promised dirt on Hillary Clinton's campaign and being informed that the Russian government wanted his father to win the presidency.

New Delhi, Oct 21 (UITV/IANS) - At a time when customers are rushing to link all their bank accounts with Aadhaar, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has clarified that it never issued any such directions, it was the decision of the Indian government.

The apex bank further clarified that in applicable cases, linkage of Aadhaar number to bank account is mandatory under the Prevention of Money-laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2017.

United Nations, Oct 21 (UITV/IANS) - Nearly 590,00 Rohingya refugees have been admitted to camps in Bangladesh and 320,00 refugee children among them are threatened by water-borne diseases and desperate living conditions, a UN spokesman said Friday.

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that 589,000 Rohingyas have fled Myanmar's northern Rakhine State since alleged retaliation following a deadly rebel militia attack on Aug. 25 against police posts, said Farhan Haq, the UN spokesman.

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 21 (UITV): Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak claimed that his administration would not allow Indians to become victim in public universities. He claimed the same on the 25th annual general assembly of the Indian Progressive Front in Serdang.

 

Prime Minister attacked former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. He told the former Prime Minister made the Indian suffer by introducing meritocracy in Public Universities 15 years back.

 

But, this is not that the Indians are only victim in education. There are may other field in the country where the racial quotas prevent many Indians from developing their skills.

 

The Prime Minister of Malaysia seems to suggest that Indians are present in the public universities not because of there ability it is because of the racial quota system. But, the truth is not actually that. In Malaysia, many Indians are more efficient  in speaking English than Malays. They have the ability to master languages, unlike Malays.

Madhuri Dixit’s family trip to Taj Mahal

Agra, Oct 21 (UITV/IANS): Madhuri Dixit-Nene visited Taj Mahal with her family. The actress says her "love affair with India goes on".

Madhuri took to Twitter on Saturday to share a photograph in which the couple along with their two sons Arin and Rayaan, and other members of the family can be seen posing in front of the 17th century marble mausoleum.

WhatsApp is giving more power to the group administrators

San Francisco, Oct 21 (UITV/IANS): The administrators on WhatsApp groups will soon be able to choose if other participants can modify the subject of the group, its icon and its description.

According to Wabetainfo.com, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features early, the Facebook-owned messaging platform has submitted this new update through Google Play Beta Programme in the version 2.17.387.
