Iranian Vice President Masoumeh Ebtekar test positive for COVID-19

Tehran, Feb 28 (UITV/IANS)- Masoumeh Ebtekar, Irans Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, has announced that she has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

Ebtekar, the first woman to become a minister since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, joins the deputy health minister, the head of the national security commission and a reformist MP on the list of Iranian authorities who have been infected with the virus, reports Efe news.

She tested positive on Thursday after showing symptoms the previous day during a cabinet meeting, according to state TV.

Coronavirus outbreak at 'decisive point' as China toll now 2,788

Beijing/Geneva, Feb 28 (UITV/IANS)- The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the coronavirus outbreak has reached a "decisive point" and has "pandemic potential" as the toll in China, the deadly disease's country of origin, increased to 2,788 on Friday.

"We are at a decisive point... For the past two days, the number of new cases reported in the rest of the world has exceeded the number of new cases in China," WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said while addressing the media in Geneva on Thursday.

AHMEDABAD, Feb 25 (UITV): US President Donald Trump's affability with Gujarati origin Indian PM Narendra Modi  was something could not be missed on Monday. Trump in his speech said that the four million strong Indian diaspora has contributed greatly to the growth of US. He also
acknowledged the powerful Gujarati diaspora by mentioning that one in four NRIs has roots in Gujarat.
NRGs especially NRIs at large are known to have affinity towards Democrats. But Trump’s attitude towards India and support for the country on global arena might swing votes in his favour, believe some diaspora members.
However, the NRGs who formed the part of the event on Monday, saw it as a returning of love that was on show during Howdy Modi event past year. '' I am sure the namaste Trump event will mark a deep impact on the US President who called himself as a friend of India and indians'', stated haribhai Patel, a resident of Chicago and vice-president of Republican Hindu Coalition. Vikram dons seven looks in upcoming film 'Cobra'

Chennai, Feb 28 (UITV/IANS)- Tamil superstar Vikram dons seven different looks in his upcoming film "Cobra". This was revealed in the first look poster of the film, launched on Friday at 5pm.

Dressed as a politician and an old man among his various garbs in the film, Vikram shows off unrecognisable avatars in the poster.

Interestingly, the cast of the film also includes former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan in his Tamil debut as an actor. "KGF" fame Srinidhi Shetty also makes her Tamil debut in the film, which also features filmmaker KS Ravikumar.

HP Inc reported net revenue of $14.6 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2020 (November-January period) and free cash flow at $1.1 billion.
