PM Modi thanks Brazil PM Bolsonaro for granting visa-free travel to indians

PM Modi invited PM of Brazil Jair Bosonaro as a chief guest on republic day

SAO PAULO, Nov 16 (UITV): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, November 13, held bilateral talks with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro besides 11th BRICS Summit. During the summit,  PM Modi welcomed the decision of the Brazilian President to grant visa-free travel to Indian citizens. Modi stated, “I thank the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro for the decision to give Indians visa-free entry in the country.”

PM Modi invited Bolsonaro to the Republic Day, 2020. The Brazilian President has reportedly accepted the invitation, according to an official statement. "Both leaders agreed that on this occasion, the two countries can comprehensively enhance our strategic partnership," it said. PM Modi said he is expecting to discuss matters related to trade. He also defined areas for potential investment from Brazil, including in areas of agricultural equipment, animal husbandry, post-harvest technologies, and biofuels, the statement said. The Brazilian President expressed his willingness and informed Prime Minister Modi that a huge business delegation will accompany him to India, it said, adding that the two leaders also discussed other areas of cooperation including space and defence sectors.
