Prayagraj Kumbh Mela welcomes Mauritian PM today

Prayagraj, 24 Jan (UITV)- Mauritian PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth to visit Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj (Allahabad), India. All preparations have been done to welcome guests of 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.

Kumbh Mela is one of largest events in India usually take place every four years in different locations of India. This time, Prayagraj (Allahabad) has been chosen to conduct Kumbh Mela.

Around 3200 guests of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas including Mauritius PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth will reach Prayagraj from Varanasi. Sangam, Akshaya Vat, Samudra Kup, Saraswati Kup and Hanuman Temple are some famous places which will be visited by Indian Diaspora. 

Most of guests would visit Sangam (Triveni Sangam), it is the "confluence" of three rivers. People believe that a bath here said to flush away all of one's sins and free one from the cycle of rebirth. They will also visit Sanskriti Gram and Kala gram to see the Indian artisan and crafts.

Guests will return to Delhi in three special trains at a different time in evening. By visiting Kumbh Mela, Visitors would get to know very well about their ancestral Indian traditions.
