See you at your trial: Big decision looms for Kamala Harris on Donald Trump impeachment trial

New York, Jan 25 (UITV/IANS)- Impeachment politics is moving fast. America's political pundits are all over the map on whether US Vice President Kamala Harris should, should not or could preside over the impeachment trial of former US president Donald Trump who is currently in Florida, licking his wounds and lawyering up.

The Constitution is clear that the US chief justice must preside over the impeachment trial of a president. But when it comes to the trial of an ex-president, the answers are split wide open. If Roberts does recuse himself, it will be up to Harris to make the decision. The sitting Vice President presides over the Senate.

The report said that between 2000 and 2020, the size of the migrant population abroad grew for nearly all countries and areas of the world with India experiencing the largest gain of nearly 10 million during that period, going from the third place in 2000 for the number of migrants to the first spot in 2020.

The report takes a broad view of migrants, including also students and those going abroad for family reunions in the definition.

Explaining the phenomenon of the migration from India, UN's Population Affairs Officer Clare Menozzi said: "The Indian diaspora is one of the most vibrant dynamic world... It's present in all continents, in all regions."

In a video message to mark the International Day of Education on Sunday, Guterres paid tribute to the resilience of students, teachers and families in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, which, at its peak, forced almost every school, institute and university to close its doors.
