Ninh Bình, 13/Nov/2018 (UITV) - Tam Cốc-Bích Động is a tourist destination with lush green rice fields, limestone karsts, and peaceful environment. Far away from the buzzing cities, very close to nature....... it is a alluring place in Vietnam.

Boat rush

It is one of the best tourist places and part of the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex UNESCO World Heritage site.
"Three caves" is the meaning for Tam Cốc, so it consists of three natural caves Hang Cả, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba on the Ngô Đồng River. River runs through the interior of the caves.

Under caves

Travelling in small boats through rice fields and limestone karsts, through the caves, and back will be a suberb experience in life.  "The inland Ha Long Bay" is the nickname for this place.

Bích Động

Coming to Bích Động, it is a pagoda complex which was built in 1428. It is situated on nearby Ngu Nhac Mountain.

Skilful rowing

Small rowing boats (sampan) have the capacity for 4 persons which are driven by rowing sticks. Usually it takes 2 hours to complete the boat trip.
Another interesting thing is most of the boats are driven by women. Visitors will be astounded after seeing skilful rowing of boats by women.
Tam Cốc is filled with incredibly scenic landscapes and rice plantations. So, don’t miss to visit this place when you are in Vietnam.
