Aug 12 – Former Indian captain Virat Kohli denied on Saturday that he earns a stunning INR 11.45 crore with every post he makes on the photo-sharing app Instagram. “While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making the rounds about my social media earnings is not true,” Kohli said on Twitter. Previously, it was reported that Kohli is the highest-paid Indian on Instagram. According to the same claim, Ronaldo is paid a whopping USD 3.23 million for each sponsored article, which is nearly INR 26.75 crore. Messi, who finished second, makes USD 2.56 million each Instagram post, which equates to INR 21.49 crore.
Kolhi is now on a hiatus after the BCCI rested him ahead of the Asia Cup 2023, which begins on August 30.
