Bengaluru, 2 November 2025:
The maiden edition of Hoysala Hustle 2025 transformed Bengaluru’s iconic NICE Road into a breathtaking confluence of sport, heritage, and community spirit. Organized by Bhasin Sports (Bhasin Fitness Pvt Ltd.), the event brought together over 5,000 runners from across India in a one-of-a-kind running experience that celebrated both endurance and Karnataka’s vibrant cultural identity.
A Celebration of Movement and Culture
Hoysala Hustle 2025 wasn’t just a race — it was a living canvas of Karnataka’s soul. Every kilometer along the route came alive with immersive installations inspired by the state’s legendary heritage:
🏰 Belur–Halebidu temples stood tall as tributes to Hoysala architecture.
🌊 Jog Falls cascaded in a spectacular display of motion and sound.
🐃 Kambala brought the raw energy of coastal traditions to life.
👑 Mysore Palace reflected regal splendor and craftsmanship.
🪨 Hampi’s Stone Chariot and pillars echoed the glory of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Complementing the visual grandeur were live folk performances by local troupes — including Yakshagana, Garudi Gombe, Huli Vesha, and Dollu Kunitha — ensuring that runners didn’t just move through kilometers but through centuries of culture. The beats of the drums and the rhythmic energy of dancers infused the event with an unmistakable spirit of Karnataka.
Flag-offs by Eminent Guests
The morning began with a high-energy Zumba warm-up, led by professional instructors, setting the tone for a charged start. The event was formally flagged off by distinguished guests:
- • Ravi Nayakar, Indian Field Hockey Olympian, who led the 21K and 10K flag-offs, inspiring athletes with his message on discipline and perseverance.
- Smt Uma Reddy, President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI), who flagged off the 5K category and lauded the organizers for promoting wellness, tourism, and inclusivity through sport.
The run was led by TVS Motor’s Auto as an official pace vehicle, ensuring safety and synchronization across categories as runners embarked on their journey down the picturesque NICE Road stretch.
