Divine Liturgy in Moscow in anniversary of Rus’ conversion to Christianity

The Divine Liturgy on the 1,030th anniversary of the conversion to Christianity of the Kievan Rus – a territory of modern Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus – is being held in Cathedral Square of the Kremlin. The ceremony is led by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and is attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria. Christianization took place in 988, when Vladimir the Great was baptized in Chersonesus. He then baptized his family and people in Kiev.Video courtesy - RT
