Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed hope that the fierce conflict against Hamas in Gaza will end soon.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview with Israeli Channel 14 TV News that the war in Rafah is going to end soon. He also said that the war in the entire Gaza Strip is going to end soon. Israeli forces are currently conducting ground operations in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, where more than 1 million refugees have taken refuge.

According to the Xinhua news agency, Netanyahu said that the imminent end of the war in the Gaza Strip does not mean that the ongoing conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip will end. The fight against Hamas will continue. Netanyahu has vowed that Israel will continue its operation in Gaza until it wipes out the terrorist group Hamas.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that if the war in Gaza ends, we will continue to move northward, referring to Israel’s warnings of a war against the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.

He said that according to our conditions, there will be any compromise to ensure a ceasefire on the Israel-Lebanon border. Since October 7, 2023, Hezbollah-Israeli fighting has been going on in northern Israel.

He said that he would only agree to the agreement that Hamas would be completely removed from power in the Gaza Strip and that about 100 hostages held in Gaza would be released.
