LONDON, Dec 14: British Rishi Sunak’s net favorability rating has reached the most principled level ever discussed amid the controversial Rwanda policy controversy. A new survey has revealed that most people have a negative attitude towards Rishi Sunak. In the analogous approach, the percentage of individuals is said to be 70 percent.
The YouGov survey was conducted just before Sunak’s crucial vote on the Randa Bill, according to which Sunak had a favorable opinion of 21 percent.
When Boris Johnson left office, YouGov still recorded a favorability rating of 53, and the former Prime Minister’s favorability rating at that time was recorded at 53. The worst favorability rating so far recorded is Liz Truss’s 70.
Similarly, Conservative Volleyball had expressed negative views about the leaders of that party in 2019. Whom he had supported four years ago. This was another new low for the Prime Minister.
Opinions of the people have been recorded, among them, 56 percent have expressed negative views and 40 percent have shared positive views in the survey.
Amidst all this, the saving grace for Sunak is that the government’s Randa Bill was voted 313-269 for the post of approval in the House of Commons. Now it has been sent for further investigation.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has given his assent to the Rwanda Plan 2022. The scheme seeks to eliminate the dangerous journey of approximately 32 km across the Channel to the bridge in small boats or inflatable dinghies.
Under the scheme, anyone who illegally travels to the UK coast after January 1, 2022, faces remittances to Rwanda, some 6,400 km away.
The first deportation flight was put on hold in June 2022 by order of the European Court of Human Rights.
When Rishi Sunak became the Prime Minister of Britain, he revealed his fifth sentiment. There was also talk of a “ban on boats” with them. Therefore this scheme is very important for the British Rishi Sunak.
