US President Joe Biden has been infected with Kovid-19. However, Biden is showing mild symptoms of Kovid 19. This information has been shared by the White House.

An official statement said that Joe Biden has left for his home state of Delaware where he will self-isolate and recuperate while continuing to work. His campaign event in Nevada had to be canceled due to Corona. The US President has tested positive for Covid on Wednesday, July 17 amid campaigning. A day before this, he attended the National Convention in Las Vegas.

White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said in a statement on Wednesday that President Biden tested positive for Covid-19 after his first event in Las Vegas today. He further said that he has mild symptoms of Kovid-19. They are vaccinated and have received booster doses.

On social media platform X, US President Joe Biden shared the information that he was infected with Kovid and said, I have been infected with Kovid-19 this afternoon, but I am feeling good and thanks to all my well-wishers. I will isolate myself while I recover from this illness and I will continue to work for the people of America during this time.

Adam Schiff, the senior Democratic member of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, posed the biggest challenge to Joe Biden’s re-election bid. He is running for the US Senate and has joined the latest Democrats to call for the president’s impeachment. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to oust President Joe Biden and Adam Schiff is said to be very close to Nancy Pelosi.

Joe Biden has been one of the most important presidents in our country’s history, Schiff said in a statement. Our country has been bettered by his lifetime service as Senator, Vice President and now President. But, in the present time, our country is standing on such two roads, where the foundation of our democracy will be weakened if Trump becomes the president for the second time. I am concerned about whether Donald Trump will succeed in defeating the President in the November presidential election.

Joe Biden has rejected any advice to leave the presidency and has vowed to stay in the race. However, his resolve may be seriously challenged by his age due to his Kovid-19 infection.

In the same statement issued by White House press secretary Karyn Jean-Pierre, White House doctor Kevin O’Connor said, “Biden is currently showing mild symptoms of Covid-19 such as a runny nose and cough and is also feeling fatigued.” is Biden has been given the anti-viral drug paxlovid after the corona positive report. He was feeling fine until his first event of the day, but after that he wasn’t feeling any better and his health started to deteriorate. So as a precaution Kovid-19 test was done and the result came positive.

The doctor said they have mild symptoms. His body temperature is normally 97.8 and his pulse oximetry is normally 97 percent. The first dose of paxlovid has been given to the President.

Last time in July 2022, Joe Biden was infected with Kovid for the first time. This time too, the symptoms of Kovid were seen and the report came positive on the test. After which he had to isolate himself a second time. According to the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the President will isolate himself.
