Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived on a two-day visit to Austria after his visit to Russia. PM Modi was hosted by Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehmer. On social media platform X, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal posted pictures of the two leaders together in Vienna and called it “an important milestone in India-Austria partnership.”

On PM Modi’s arrival in the capital city of Vienna, Austrian artists sang the Indian national song Vande Mataram in a beautiful style in front of PM Modi at the hotel in Vienna. PM Modi has shared this video of this wonderful moment and the pride of the country with the countrymen. PM Modi shared this memorable moment on his Instagram and X handle. He also thanked the Austrian musical group for this memorable offer.

PM Modi shared this video on social media today, July 10 and captioned it, “Austria is known for its wonderful musical culture, I got a wonderful performance of our national song Vande Mataram and I thank you for it. I do.” He further said that this experience is great for him and he sees it as a great honor.

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehmer hosted a private meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the first meeting between the leaders of these two countries. Further, the leaders of both the countries will discuss on taking the bilateral partnership in a positive direction. Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehmer welcomed Prime Minister Modi in Vienna via X-Par post with the photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that it is our pleasure and honor to welcome you to Austria. Austria and India are friends and partners. I look forward to our economic and political discussions during your visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehmer for his ‘warm welcome’ and said that I am very much looking forward to the discussion between us tomorrow. Through another post on X, PM Modi told Chancellor Karl Nehmer that it was a pleasure to meet you in Vienna. India-Austria friendship is strong and it will be stronger in coming time.
