Delhi, November 18 (UITV)- Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the G-20 summit held in Brazil after visiting Nigeria. On reaching Brazil, he was welcomed with the chanting of Sanskrit mantras, which showed a deep impression of Indian culture on foreign soil. Prime Minister Modi seemed overwhelmed by this unique welcome. This video of his welcome is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Prime Minister Modi was also warmly welcomed by the Indian community in Rio de Janeiro, the capital of Brazil. People of the Indian community met the Prime Minister with tricolor flags and various pictures. PM Modi shared pictures of these moments on his social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). In these pictures, he was seen meeting and interacting with the people of the Indian community. On this, PM Modi wrote, “I was deeply impressed by the warm welcome given by the Indian community on reaching Rio de Janeiro. Their energy and affection connects us with every continent.”
Giving information about the Brazil visit, Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media, “Reached Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to participate in the G-20 Summit. Looking forward to the discussions of this summit and useful talks with world leaders.
The Ministry of External Affairs had earlier informed that during the G-20 summit, Prime Minister Modi will meet many global leaders. Various global issues are expected to be discussed in this summit.
After the G-20 summit, Prime Minister Modi will visit Georgetown in Guyana. This visit holds special significance as it will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Guyana after 1968. PM Modi has been invited by Guyana President Mohammed Irfan Ali. During this, he will hold bilateral talks and address the Parliament of Guyana. Also, he will participate in a gathering of Indian expatriates present there.
These visits to Brazil and Guyana are an important step towards further strengthening India’s global presence and the spread of Indian culture. Under the leadership of PM Modi, India is further strengthening its identity on the international stage not only in economic and political matters but also from cultural and humanitarian point of view.
