Notorious gangster Kala Khairampuria, wanted by the police in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi, has been arrested by the Gurugram Special Task Force (STF), officials announced. Kala faced charges in 20 cases of murder and attempted murder.
Kala had a long-standing rivalry with gangster Swatantra, which contributed to his criminal activities. The STF had been actively pursuing him for various crimes. More details about the arrest will be disclosed during a press conference on Saturday.
STF officials revealed that Kala is a resident of Khairampur in Hisar. The team successfully extradited him from Thailand, arresting him at the airport late Friday night.
Kala had been on the run since 2020 after being released on parole. During his time on the outside, he committed five murders and managed his gang, Bhau the Gang, from Thailand.
