Actor Babil Khan has officially exited filmmaker Sai Rajesh’s upcoming Hindi remake of the Telugu film Baby, citing “unforeseen circumstances” and a need to take some time off. The decision follows a series of emotionally charged events, including a viral video where Babil broke down and subsequent social media posts criticizing several Bollywood celebrities for their behavior. These posts led to a public exchange between Babil and Sai Rajesh, culminating in the project’s cancellation.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Babil expressed mutual respect for Sai Rajesh and the team, stating:
“With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn’t go ahead as everyone had planned.”
Director Sai Rajesh responded with admiration for Babil, calling him “one of the most talented and hardworking actors” he has met, and expressed hope for future collaborations.
