One rumor claims that her request for manageable hours caused “friction” during early discussions, potentially leading to her ouster.
However, these rumors were swiftly debunked. Insider sources confirmed that Kalki 2 is still in its pre-production phase, with no shooting or actor interactions underway—meaning no “sets” exist yet to generate actual friction. The NDTV report explicitly labeled the friction narrative as “completely baseless,” clarifying that “no shoot, no interaction and therefore, no question of a fallout”.
Industry experts point out that such rumors often stem from the coverage of her departure from Spirit, fueled by vague social media posts and speculation. But when the actual development timeline of Kalki 2 is factored in, the idea of her being replaced due to set tensions appears unfounded.
