New Delhi, 11 Oct: Axis Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, joins hands with Fibe (formerly known as EarlySalary) to introduce an innovative credit card exclusively tailored for tech-savvy Generation Z individuals. This groundbreaking credit card, the first of its kind in India, removes traditional card identifiers such as card number, expiry date, and CVV code printed on the physical card, thereby enhancing security and privacy for customers. The primary goal of this design is to significantly reduce the risk of identity theft and unauthorized access to cardholders’ information. The numberless credit card will be accessible to Fibe’s extensive customer base of over 2.1 million individuals.
This co-branded credit card comes with a range of industry-leading features. Customers can enjoy 3% cashback on online food delivery from all restaurant aggregators as well as local commute spending through popular ride-hailing apps. Additionally, it offers 1% cashback on all online and offline transactions. The card is powered by RuPay, which allows customers to link it to the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). It is widely accepted across both physical retail stores and various digital platforms and includes a convenient tap-and-pay feature.

Notably, this credit card has zero lifetime joining fees and zero annual fees, making it an attractive and cost-effective option. Cardholders can avail access to four domestic airport lounges per quarter, fuel surcharge waiver for fuel expenditure ranging from Rs. 400 to Rs. 5,000, and additional benefits of Axis Dining Delights, Wednesday Delights, End of Season Sales and RuPay Portfolio offerings are available on all their cards.
Overall, this peerless credit card represents a significant leap forward in enhancing both security and the range of benefits available to tech-savvy Generation Z customers in India.
