Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off India Energy Week 2024 by meeting CEOs of global oil majors. Prime Minister Modi will go to Goa on Tuesday to inaugurate it. On Monday, the PMO informed that it will include energy ministers of 17 countries and CEOs of global oil and gas giants.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the ONGC Marine Survival Centre, which will enhance the Indian marine survival training ecosystem to global standards. The center is expected to train 10,000-15,000 personnel annually.
The PMO statement said, “A major goal of Prime Minister Modi has been to achieve self-reliance in energy needs. Taking a step towards achieving this goal, India Energy Week 2024 is being organized in Goa from 6 to 9 February. It will be India’s only omnichannel and largest energy exhibition and conference to bring together the entire energy value chain. India Energy Week 2024 will serve as a catalyst for India’s energy transition goals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a roundtable meeting with global oil and gas CEOs and experts.”
India Energy Week 2024 being organized from 6th to 9th February in Goa will host over 900 exhibitors and over 35,000 attendees. It will have pavilions from six countries: UK, Russia, Canada, US, Germany and Netherlands. A special Make in India Pavilion is being organized at India Energy Week 2024 to showcase the innovative solutions that Indian MSMEs are leading in the energy sector.
An important focus of India Energy Week 2024 will be to promote startups, encourage startups and integrate them into the energy value chain.
