Hyderabad, October 19: Famous pan-Indian actor Allu Arjun has been honored with the prestigious National Award for ‘Best Actor’ for his remarkable performance in the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. His triumphant return home received a warm welcome from his devoted fans and celebrated his achievement with traditional drums and fireworks.
The actor received the National Award at the 69th National Awards ceremony held in New Delhi on Tuesday, much to the delight of his fans who witnessed the momentous occasion. Upon their return to Hyderabad, the celebrations took on a grand festive atmosphere, with fans pouring their hearts into the celebration.
A viral video circulating on social media captured the unforgettable scene when Allu Arjun stepped out of the sunroof of his car wearing a black kurta and white pajama. He warmly welcomed and shook hands with the enthusiastic crowd while they showered him with flower petals and proudly displayed ‘AA’ flags. Fans also displayed placards of their films and eagerly captured the moments on camera.
Allu Arjun’s National Award win has etched his name in the history of Telugu cinema as the only actor to receive this prestigious award for the Best Actor category. Her portrayal of the iconic character Pushpa Raj received immense affection from fans and audiences across the world. The film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ also had the honor of winning the Best Music Direction award, the credit for which goes to the talented Devi Sri Prasad.
