Punjabi actor Isha Rikhi has opened up about betrayal and a difficult relationship during a recent conversation with fellow Bigg Boss 20 contestant Kanika Mann. Her comments came days after Isha and rapper Badshah announced their separation, although she did not directly name him while discussing her past relationship.
During the conversation, Isha said she generally trusts people close to her and does not believe accusations about them without seeing evidence herself. However, she said that after one relationship ended, she discovered things that made her feel she had been “played.” She described the experience as particularly difficult because she had believed she shared a close and genuine bond with her partner.
When Kanika asked whether the betrayal was physical or emotional, Isha indicated that she experienced more than one form of cheating. She described the relationship as a situation in which she was made to feel like a best friend while later discovering that the other person had maintained several other close relationships. Isha said being left in such an uncertain position became “toxic” for her.
Isha also spoke about feeling that someone wanted to keep her in their life for convenience while simultaneously wanting the freedom to maintain other relationships. She said the experience changed the way she viewed trust and relationships.
Her remarks have attracted considerable attention because of their timing. Isha and Badshah had kept their relationship largely private before reports of their marriage emerged in March 2026. Isha later confirmed the marriage, but the couple announced their separation in September through a joint statement, saying they had mutually decided to move forward on separate paths and asking people to respect their privacy.
While viewers have interpreted Isha’s comments as references to her relationship with Badshah, she did not explicitly identify him during the conversation. Reports about the reasons for their separation therefore remain based on her statements and subsequent public speculation rather than a direct explanation from both sides.
Isha had previously said that she was not ready to pursue another romantic relationship and wanted to focus on herself and her own healing. She has also indicated that, for the time being, she wants the public to focus on her as an individual rather than define her primarily through her past relationship.
