Mumbai, Dec 09 (UiTV/IANS) – Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza will be seen grooving on the latest version of the classic song ‘Mera Dil Yeh Pukaare Aaja’ originally sung by legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, which is currently trending on social media. She made her appearance on ‘Indian Idol 13’.
As the actress came along with her husband and actor Riteish Deshmukh to promote their upcoming film ‘Ved’, the actress added more elements of entertainment in the show by grooving to the remix in her own style. Riteish made his directorial debut with ‘Ved’.
Genelia is known for her Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. She started her career with ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ in 2003. Later, she was seen in ‘Satyam’, ‘Sye’, ‘Masti’, ‘Force’, and many more.
Apart from her amazing dance moves, contestants Shivam Singh and Senjuti Da will be seen giving performance on the song ‘Pehla Nasha from the film ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and ‘Ghum Hain Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein’ from the film ‘Rampur Ka Lakshman’.
After their romantic performance, Genelia said: “I am in love with your performance. Both of these songs are closest to my heart. It takes me back to those moments of life when we cherish little things about love.”
Shivam also added: “Love is really a special feeling and it’s a responsibility. I still haven’t fallen in love but people who fall in love automatically start losing two or three friends in their life. It has happened with my friends.”

‘I have finally found my groove in cinema’ says Arjun Kapoor
Actor Arjun Kapoor revealed that through his forthcoming films he will tackle diverse genres and challenge himself to deliver better performances.
“As an actor, my journey in cinema has been of immense learning and growth. I feel I have finally found my groove in cinema and discovered what I truly want to do on screen. I have realised that I need to only do projects that bring me happiness and help me mature on screen,” said Arjun.
He added: “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is one such film that has given me tremendous love and appreciation. I received acting accolades for this film and I can’t be thankful enough for this project.”
Arjun hopes to wow everyone again and earn rave reviews with Aasman Bhardwaj’s ‘Kuttey’ and Ajay Bahl’s ‘The Ladykiller’.
He said: “‘Kuttey’ is again that film which I feel will bring me a lot of joy and love and then, I’m confident that ‘The Ladykiller’ will also deliver as a superb film and hopefully make my performance stand out. I have always wanted to be a part of credible films that allow me to also excel on screen as a performer.”
Arjun went on: “I wanted to collaborate with storytellers who believe in me and push me to do better. Dibakar Banerjee, Aasman Bhardwaj and Ajay Bahl are filmmakers for whom I have bared my soul. So, yes I do hope that Kuttey and The Ladykiller become big hits. I have punted a lot on them and I hope that people like what I have done on screen!”
