The buzz around Dhurandhar 3 is growing stronger after producer Jyoti Deshpande hinted that the blockbuster franchise may not be over yet. Her latest comments have sparked excitement among fans, especially after the massive success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
During a recent interaction, Deshpande revealed that the team still has “something up our sleeves” and teased a “surprise for the audience” later this year. While she did not officially confirm a third installment, her statement has led fans to believe that Dhurandhar 3 could already be in development.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the action-thriller franchise has become one of Bollywood’s biggest box-office successes. Reports suggest the two films together have earned more than ₹3,000 crore worldwide, building a massive fan following for the high-octane spy universe.
Fans have also been closely observing hints dropped by Aditya Dhar himself. Earlier, the filmmaker had urged audiences not to leave theatres before the end credits of Dhurandhar 2, fueling speculation that the makers were already planting seeds for another chapter.
Interestingly, not everyone connected to the franchise has confirmed the rumours. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra had previously dismissed reports of a third film, saying “nothing of the sort” was happening at the moment.
Despite the mixed signals, fans on social media are convinced that the makers are preparing either an official announcement, a spin-off, or a behind-the-scenes documentary connected to the franchise.
