Mumbai, November 29: Filmmaker Karan Johar narrated an interesting anecdote about Kajol in his famous chat show Koffee with Karan. Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee worked together in the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Karan Johar shared a funny anecdote from a narration of this film which is related to Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. She said that when Kajol got a call from director Mani Ratnam, she felt that someone was joking with her.
Kajol and Rani Mukherjee will be seen gracing the show in the upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8.
Actress Kajol was offered the film ‘Dil Se’. 1998 film starring Shahrukh Khan, Manisha Koirala, Preity Zinta. Everyone still remembers the song “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from the film. Kajol was called by director Mani Ratnam for the film Dil Se. This has been revealed by filmmaker Karan Johar in season 8 of his famous chat show Koffee with Karan.

Producer Karan Johar recalled an incident related to this and said, “I still remember the day when I narrated the film to Shahrukh Khan and you. We were in Amrit Apartment, Shahrukh Khan’s old house. You were crying and Shahrukh Khan was looking at you and thinking that you had lost the plot. I was crying while narrating the film and you were crying while listening and he was just thinking that we both were crazy.”
He said I am Mani Ratnam and you said yes, “I am Tom Cruise” and hung up the phone. Mani Ratnam had called him for Dil Se and he could not believe that it was Mani Ratnam. They felt that someone was joking with them.
