Mumbai, October 27: Actress Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her upcoming military drama ‘Tejas’, which is all set to release on the big screen. In a recent Q&A session with IMDb, Kangana shared information about her character and her career in the film industry.
Talking about her role as Indian Air Force pilot Tejas Gill, Kangana emphasized that Tejas is a modern warrior. She talked about her interest in portraying strong and fierce women and her deep respect for soldiers, and said that the role of Tejas was cathartic and personally gratifying for her.
When asked about a significant moment in her career, Kangana pointed to her role in the film ‘Queen’, which she described as life-changing. This film provided her a platform and turned her into a successful actress. She also named other characters like Sonali in ‘Fashion’, Datto in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Manikarnika’ as her favourites.
Kangana expressed her desire to work with filmmaker Aanand L Rai again, especially in a comedy, in a move away from her usually serious roles. He also discussed the inspirations for his career and focused on how his films connect with audiences.
Looking ahead, Kangana revealed her involvement in a thriller with Vijay Sethupathi and her upcoming project ‘Noti Binodini’. She also revealed that ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’ is on the way, indicating a busy schedule ahead.
