Mumbai, December 8: Actress Lara Dutta, who was recently seen in the streaming series ‘Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley’, expressed her concern about the spread of health advice on social media and the internet. He highlighted the unsustainable trend where everyone becomes a self-proclaimed health expert through online platforms.
Speaking at a media roundtable on empowering the menopause conversation, where she focused on menstrual health, Lara stressed the importance of consulting professionals in health matters. He explained that the abundance of information available online often leads individuals to self-diagnose or follow general advice.
Lara said, “Today we are all familiar with everything, we have all become Google, Instagram doctors. Even for women, we are constantly bombarded with a lot of information.” He cautioned against relying solely on online information, stressing the need to consult experts who have invested time, energy, and research into understanding specific health issues.
The actress highlighted the potential pitfalls of following general advice without considering individual variations.
