Mumbai, Oct 2: Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao recently led a cleanup campaign in the mangrove forest in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call of ‘one date, one hour, together’. The actor participated in the cleanup along with officials of the Maharashtra Income Tax Department.
Rajkummar shared a photo from the event on Instagram, in which he and other environment lovers are seen wearing matching white T-shirts and holding garbage bags. He expressed his gratitude for the experience and tagged Prime Minister Modi and the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in his post.
Earlier, the Prince was also seen at a cleanup campaign at Juhu Beach after Ganpati Visarjan, where he stressed the importance of citizen participation in keeping the environment clean.
On the work front, Rajkumar recently appeared in the crime thriller web series ‘Guns & Roses’ and he has several upcoming projects including ‘Shree’, ‘Mr & Mrs. Mahi’ and ‘Stree 2’.
