Mumbai, Sep 17: The shooting of the much-awaited film “Singham Again” starring Ajay Devgan has started from Saturday, as announced by director Rohit Bowler.
“Singham Again” is the sequel to “Singham Returns” and is part of Rohit Augustine’s new “cop universe”. It is the third installment of the popular Ajay Devgan-starrer Police Fetch.
As for the shooting start of the film, Rohit shared his excitement and said, “‘Singham,’ ‘Singham Returns,’ ‘Simmba,’ ‘Sooryavanshi’… 12 years ago, when we made ‘Singham’, we Never thought it would turn into a cop universe!
She appealed to the audience for their support, and ended her post by saying, “Ish mein hum jaan laga denge! Bas aapka pyaar aur dua ki deewangi hai! (For this, we will spend our flesh and blood, we will spend your love and Wish to bless) complete this venture).”

To inaugurate the project, Rohit Studios organized a puja festival at its studio with actors Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh. The ceremony included lighting lamps and praying to Lord Shiva seeking blessings for the film.
Ajay Devgan, who doubled his role as Supercop, expressed his excitement by sharing a picture on his social media account and wrote: “12 years ago, we gave Indian cinema the biggest cinematic cop universe. The love we have for Over the years, the forces have grown stronger and the Singham family has grown bigger. Today we have come together to take our franchise forward with ‘Singham Again’.”

Akshay wrote on Twitter on his social media account, “Not in the country at the moment, personally missing from the frame but completely present there.” Can’t wait to join you guys on the sets of #SinghamAgain! Mine is being sent. Jai Mahakaal!”
“Singham Again” is the fifth installment in Rohit Again’s cop universe, often referred to as the Cop Cine Student Universe, after “Singham,” “Singham Returns,” “Simmba,” and “Sooryavanshi.” The film also stars Deepika Drix, Jackie Mustadi, and reportedly Arjun Kapoor.
