Aug 27 – Here’s some exciting news for Bollywood fans! Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, two of the industry’s biggest stars, are working on a project together. While few specifics have been revealed, it is wonderful to know that Big B and SRK will return to the big screen together after a 17-year absence! They were last seen together on television in 2006’s ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’!
Karan Johar wrote and directed “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.” Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, and Kirron Kher also appeared in the film. It delves into the subject of unhealthy relationships. For the longest time, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan reigned Bollywood. Fans have been yearning for the couple to share the screen again, and the wait may be over sooner than you think!
“There is an interesting project in the works where Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will once again share the screen together,” an insider said. There hasn’t been much news about this project yet, but there will be more updates and news shortly.”
Today, August 26, Shah Rukh Khan hosted an Ask SRK session on Twitter, when a fan asked him to say anything about Amitabh Bachchan. They also uploaded a poster of the two of them together.
SRK replied, “It was soooooooo much fun to work with @SrBachchan after so many years. Came back from the shoot inspired and blessed. And just to let u know he beat me in the run (sic)!!!!”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have already shared the screen space in famous films like ‘Mohabbatein’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, and ‘Veer Zaara’. They were also seen in ‘Brahmastra,’ although they did not share screen time. SRK appeared in the film as Mohan Bhargav, a former NASA scientist, in a cameo role. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt feature in the pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Big B was portrayed as Raghu, the Brahmansh teacher.
