The sudden and untimely death of actress Shefali Jariwala has left her family and fans in deep shock. Known for her iconic performance in the music video “Kaanta Laga,” Shefali reportedly passed away on June 27 in Mumbai due to a suspected cardiac arrest. Outside Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital in Andheri, a heart-wrenching scene unfolded as Shefali’s mother, Sunita Jariwala, was seen weeping inconsolably. Overwhelmed with emotion, she had to be supported by relatives and was barely able to speak while exiting the hospital. Her raw grief was captured by media cameras, as she left the premises hours after her daughter’s passing.
Shefali had been rushed to the hospital earlier that day by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and close family members. Sadly, doctors declared her brought dead. Parag, too, appeared devastated, and the couple’s friends described the loss as completely unexpected. A close friend mentioned that Shefali was “completely fine” just the day before, ruling out any prior known health issues.
Mumbai Police have initiated routine procedures, and Shefali’s body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination. While the preliminary cause appears to be cardiac arrest, further details are awaited.
