The picture of Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay, and Atlee from Atlee’s birthday celebrations last year attracted a lot of attention, which was a memorable occasion for the director. Recently, Atlee revealed what happened during the meeting between Shahrukh and Vijay at his birthday party in Chennai. He also shared how the two superstar actors are encouraging him to write a film that features both of them. Explaining the backstory of the viral picture of himself, Shah Rukh Khan, and Vijay, Atlee narrated the story to Siddharth Kannan. He said, “Last year, around this time, we were shooting for ‘Jawaan’ till September 19. My birthday falls on September 21. I saw in my schedule that my producer Gaurav Verma had given two days as holidays. I was initially surprised to see that two days were marked as blank, so I inquired about it. I asked him, ‘Why these two days?’ He replied, ‘Sir, it is a national holiday for Red Chillies.’ I was surprised and asked, ‘What?’ He replied, ‘Sir, it’s your birthday.'”

Atlee’s film “Jawaan”, which is currently making waves at the box office and is inching closer to the coveted Rs 1000 crore mark, is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment. Atlee had initially expressed his intention to have only one day off for his birthday, but the producer insisted that the team wanted a two-day celebration. Atlee credited Shahrukh Khan for this kindness, saying, “Of course, it was only from Shahrukh sir. Thanks to Shahrukh sir.”
Contrary to popular belief that the two famous actors would have in-depth discussions about films, Shah Rukh and Vijay had a light-hearted child-like conversation. They asked each other simple questions like, “What time do you get up? How much exercise do you get? What is your daily routine?” Atlee found it enjoyable to hear the playful and fun conversation between Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay.
