New Delhi, October 3: Air India flight AI-173 (DEL-SFO) from Delhi to San Francisco was canceled shortly before its scheduled take-off. Passengers also faced inconvenience due to flight cancellation.
Messages were also sent to the passengers regarding the cancellation of this flight. In which it was said that due to operational reasons, flight AI-173 has been canceled today (Tuesday, October 3).
The plane was scheduled to take off from Indira Gandhi International Airport at 6:00 am today (Tuesday). Which was canceled due to operational issues.
According to sources, it has been told that now an alternative flight has been scheduled from Delhi to San Francisco on October 5.
It is being told that this is the same flight which had a technical fault in June this year. When it was going from Delhi to San Francisco and there was a technical glitch, it had to change its route. Later its emergency landing had to be done at Magadan Airport in Russia. At that time there were 216 passengers and 16 crew on board the plane. When there was a technical fault in this aircraft, the pilot took immediate action and had to make an emergency landing. So that all the passengers and crew members on board the aircraft can be saved safely. A video footage related to this also surfaced on Twitter which showed that the emergency landing which took place at Magadan Airport in Russia and all the passengers who were trapped in it were forced to sleep on the floor of the school there.
There is no reaction from Air India yet regarding the Air India San Francisco flight being canceled due to operational issues.
