Hyderabad, January 7 (UITV) – Telugu actor Allu Arjun on Tuesday met Sriteja, a child injured in the Sandhya Theater stampede, at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad. The child was seriously injured in this incident. After meeting the injured child, the actor was seen coming out of the hospital. During this time his look had also changed, as he changed his hairstyle to short hair, whereas earlier he had long hair.
This stampede happened on December 4, when actor Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 was premiering at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. During this, a stampede occurred due to heavy crowd gathering, due to which a woman died and her child was injured. The injured child was being treated at KIMS Hospital in Begumpet, where the actor went to inquire about the child’s condition and consoled him.
The injured child’s father had recently informed that his child’s condition is improving and he will recover soon. Allu Arjun expressed his condolences to the child’s family and assured them of all possible help.
An FIR was registered against actor Allu Arjun in this stampede case. He was arrested on December 13 in connection with the incident. The Nampally court sent him to judicial custody, but his lawyers appealed to the High Court and he got interim bail. After this, the Nampally court heard the bail plea on December 27, but the police asked for time to file counter arguments, so the hearing was adjourned till December 30. On December 30, the court heard the arguments of both the parties and reserved its decision, which was pronounced on January 3. A city court granted him regular bail on January 3.
Since the incident, Allu Arjun was continuously facing judicial processes in this case and now he once again presented an example of sensitivity and humanity among the public by reaching the hospital to meet the injured child. This meeting proved that he is not just an actor but also a responsible and sensitive person, who apart from the success of his film understands his responsibility towards the society.
