New Delhi, Aug 16: Due to heavy rains in the last few days, Yamuna’s River broke its 45-year-old record and the highest level of Yamuna River reached 208.65 meters.
But now it is a matter of relief that according to the latest news, the water level of Yamuna was recorded at 205.15 meters on Wednesday morning. Which has lost 208.65 meters and is a piece of good news for the people around.
The river was flowing above the danger mark for several days before it receded below the danger mark. Due to this, many low-lying areas and roads in Delhi were flooded and people were facing a lot of trouble.
The Yamuna’s level was recorded at 205.39 meters on Tuesday night, which was above the danger mark, triggering tension in the surrounding areas. However, the level dropped at around 8 am on Wednesday and was recorded at 205.15 meters.
